Also, the subject has paramaters, the parameters of the Balkans, and is not quite as protean as Handke in his entirety. One huge page [Reports] is devoted to exactly that of the Handke readings & reviews of the various texts that he wrote on Yugoslavia & then the Kosovo campaign. One page has nothing but interviews, at least half a dozen, with Handke. It contains the first chapter of his first controversial book, A JOURNEY TO THE RIVERS, JUSTICE FOR SERBIA; and quite a few other texts of his. There is one page with about half a dozen suppotive pieces of Handke's actions [the word actor occasionally wielding a verbal sword! ] and some of the sounder viable critiques. The site contains contextual material by Naom Chomsky, Juergen Habermas, Regis Debray, Gabriel Kolko; Edward Said. It contains the U.N. self-critique of its failure in Srebrenice; a lot of human rights links; links to the Le Mondo & Die Zeit & NYRB Yugoslavia/ Kosovo archives. It contains a lot of photos & the 15 pieces that Time Magazine/ CNN ran on the entire Yugoslav disintegration, beginning with the Slovenian secession in 1992. The shorter pieces in VOICES/ OPIONS and REPORTS are too numerous to list individually here.
